About Dr. Mallika Tewari

Dr. Mallika Tewari is a Surgical Oncologist with an experience of more than 18 years. She holds an expertise in management of pancreatic cancer, bile duct cancer, gallbladder cancer, liver resection, Whipple’s surgery, radical gastrectomy, etc. She usually performs surgeries like radical cholecystectomy, hepatectomy, colectomies, abdominoperineal resection, resection of small intestine, radical nephrectomy and many others. She has performed more than 2000 surgeries so far. She received around 10 Medals and 23 other academic prizes during her Education. Dr. Mallika completed her MBBS in 2000, and MD in General Surgery in 2002 from Banaras Hindu University. Further, she did Mch in Surgical Oncology in 2009. She was an Executive Member of Indian Association of Surgical Oncology , and currently serves as the Editor of Indian Journal of Surgery, which is the official journal of Association of Surgeons of India. She has more than 110 publications published in a book called ‘Surgery for Pancreatic & Periampullary Cancer’.
