About Dr. Muzammil Shaikh

Dr. Muzammil Shaikh is a top oncologist for cancer treatment in Mumbai with over 24 years of experience. He is a well-known Medical Oncologist for breast cancer in Mumbai and has expertise in treating a wide range of cancers, including head and neck, lung, GI, genitourinary, and gynaecological cancers. Dr. Shaikh completed his MBBS from Grant Medical College & Sir JJ Hospital in 2001 and his MD (General Medicine) from Seth GS Medical College & KEM Hospital in 2006. Later, he pursued a DM (Oncology) from The Gujarat Cancer & Research Institute in 2010 and a DNB (Medical Oncology) from the National Board of Examinations, New Delhi, in 2011. He earned a Gold Medal in medical oncology at Gujarat University, becoming a leading medical oncologist in Mumbai who also excelled academically. Dr. Shaikh has published several papers, including works on chemotherapy in osteosarcoma and tumour markers in gynaecological malignancies. He is a member of the European Society of Medical Oncology, the Indian Cooperative Oncology Network, the Indian Oncology Study Group, the Indian Medical Association and the Mumbai Hematology Group.
