Dr. Ruquaya Ahmad Mir is a renowned Surgical Oncologist in India with over 35 years of experience. She is a leading surgical oncologist for lung cancer in India, who also specialises in head and neck cancers, breast and gynaecological malignancies, liver cancer, gastrointestinal cancers and soft tissue sarcoma. Dr. Mir is trained in minimally invasive techniques, robotic surgery, and advanced surgical techniques, including the implantation of vascular access devices. She did her MBBS from the University of Kashmir in 1989 and her DNB in General Surgery from the National Board of Examination in 1998. She pursued the International Chronic Myeloid Leukaemia Foundation Fellowship at Imperial College, London, in 2015.
