Dr. Jem Kalathil is a leading and highly trained Surgical Oncologist with +25 years of experience in performing surgeries to remove sarcoma, tumour and cancers. Dr. Kalathil completed his graduation from Govt. Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram, followed by MS in surgery and FRCS from the Royal Colleges of Surgeons, Edinburgh, United Kingdom. He has also trained at leading medical institutes in Italy. He is among some of the most experienced oncoplastic and reconstructive breast cancer surgeons. He performs complex organ-preserving surgeries, sarcoma surgeries, GI malignancies and other radio-guided surgeries such as occult lesion localisation and sentinel node biopsy techniques. Dr. Kalathil is an expert at surgically removing early and advanced gynecological cancers and peritoneal malignancies.
