Dr. Ponni Sivaprakasam is a renowned Pediatric Cancer Specialist with over 17 years of experience. Her areas of interest are pediatric oncology, hemato oncology, bone marrow transplant, and congenital disease management. She specializes in phlebotomy cannulation, bone marrow aspirate, bone marrow trephine, accessing ommaya reservoir and administering chemotherapy, bone marrow harvest, lumbar puncture, and delivery of intrathecal chemotherapy. She completed her MBBS from the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University (TNMGRMU) in 2000. She then moved to the United Kingdom and became a Member of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health in 2006. The EBMT (European Blood and Marrow Transplantation) group also lists her as a JACIE inspector. She plays a crucial role in teaching juniors in the Pediatric Haemato-Oncology Fellowship Program.
