About Dr. Raja Sundaram

Dr. Raja Sundaram is a renowned Surgical Oncologist with over 32 years of experience. He has successfully performed more than 18,000 cancer surgeries, including complex head and neck surgeries with microvascular reconstruction, as well as laparoscopic GI and gynecologic-on surgeries. He is primarily recognised for his expertise in complex thyroid surgeries. Additionally, he specialises in Breast Cancer Treatment, Head and Neck Tumor/Cancer Surgery, Stem Cell Transplantation, and Ewing's Sarcoma Treatment. He completed his MBBS at Madras University in 1992, MS in General Surgery at Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR University in 1997, and MCh in Surgical Oncology at the Cancer Institute, Adyar, in 2000. Dr. Sundaram established the Sundaram Cancer Centre in Chennai to provide comprehensive cancer treatment. He is an active member of several oncology societies, including IASO, ISO, AROI, ESMO, OGGSI, IMA, and ASI. He has published numerous articles in national and international journals.
