About Dr. Sandeep Nayak

Dr. Sandeep Nayak is a renowned Surgical Oncologist, with an overall experience of nearly 24 years. His major areas of interest include colorectal cancer, digestive tract cancer, head and neck cancer, breast cancer, urinary tract cancer, gynecologic cancer, and abdominal organ cancers. He has performed over 100 Laprascopic surgeries. He won Young Surgeon Video Award at NATCON IASO in 2015, and The Times Award for Best Surgical Oncologist in India in 2018. He has also acquired the Detroit Fellowship Award in 2012. Dr. Sandeep completed his MBBS from Kasturba Medical College in 1998. Thereafter, he did DNB in General Surgery and Surgical Oncology in 2005 and 2011 respectively. He has previously worked as an Assistant Professor at Kasturba Medical College Manipal, as a consultant at Botswana Southern Africa, and as an assistant professor at Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology. Currently, he is a member of Association of Surgeons of India, Bangalore Oncology Group, Association of Medical Consultants, and Indian Association of Surgical Oncology. He has been registered with Karnataka Medical Council since 1999.
