About Dr.Pramod S Chinder

Dr. Pramod is a well-known Consultant in Musculoskeletal Oncology (Orthopedic Oncology) at Bangalore. Dr. Pramod graduated from Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore [Manipal University] in 2002, and started his career as a Postgraduate Resident at the same university, in the same year He was named the outstanding postgraduate of the year, 2003, by B Braun, Germany. Dr. Pramod was selected as the 'Lee-Shaw fellow' for the National University of Singapore, for the year 2007, and was trained as the Clinical Fellow for one year in the Department of Hand and Reconstructive Microsurgery under Prof. Robert W. Pho, a world-renowned expert on Biological tumour reconstruction, in National University Hospital. Dr Pramod continued his training in the Department of Musculoskeletal Oncology at Istituto Ortopedico Rizzoli in Bologna, Italy, under Prof Mario Mercuri and Dr Marco Manfrini. His Key Interests are Biological and functional tumour reconstruction of Musculoskeletal tumours using microsurgical techniques and modern prosthesis., Joint & Growth preserving tumour surgery using the latest imaging modalities [ eg 3T MRI, 3d CT], Allografts & Noninvasive Expandable prosthesis. Dr. Pramod has a very unique practise that involves reconstructive microsurgery and oncology. Currently, there are only 2-3 centres in India, exclusively dedicated to orthopaedic oncology.
