Dr. Akhter Jawade is a Radiation Oncologist, based in Kolkata with 16+ years of experience. He has completed his MBBS from the R.G.Kar Medical College(C.U), followed by MDin Radiotherapy from the reputed Calcutta University. Dr. Akhter has worked earlier in Jubilant First Trust Health Care, SSKM Hospital, Apollo Gleneagles Cancer Hospital and is a member of the Indian Medical Council and the West Bengal Medical Council. His area of clinical expertise lies in Gastroenteritis Treatment, Skin Tumors, Intensity Modulated Radio Therapy (IMRT), External Beam Radiation For Prostate Cancer and Cancer Vagina, etc. Under his credit, there are both national and international publications in accredited indexed journals. He is also invited as a guest speaker in worldwide conferences to speak about Intensity Modulated Radio Therapy.
