About Dr. Sudha Sinha

Dr. Sudha Sinha is an oncologist with over 15 of experience. She is also a renowned hematologist. She has special interest in women related cancers such as Breast Cancer and Gestational trophoblastic diseases. She worked on the expression and purification of erythrocyte macrophage protein and development of Anti-EMP antibodies. She worked on the development of cystein protease inhibitors as anti-malarial Drugs, and on the investigation of molecular mechanisms by which erythroblast-macrophage interactions promote erythroid maturation. She established the department of medical oncology, 60-bed adult leukemia program and 80 pediatric oncology programs. Dr. Sudha Sinha is a member of European Society of Medical Oncology and Indian Medical Association. After completing her MBBS from Gandhi Medical College, University of Health Sciences; Hyderabad (1996), she was Intern in Internal medicine at St. Barnabas medical center Livingston, NJ. USA from 1998 -1999. She was also Resident in internal medicine at Barnabas Medical Center Livingston, NJ. USA (1999- 2001). Dr. Sinha held the post of Assistant Professor at MNJ Institute of oncology and regional cancer center, Hyderabad She also started The ICMR ( Indian Council of Medical Research) funded hospital based national cancer registry program.
