About Dr Santanu Acharyya

Dr Santanu Acharyya is a prominent Radiation Oncologist in Kolkata and around West Bengal. His areas of expertise are in Pelvic Malignancy & Radiotherapy and Rapic Arc technology; technologies used to give therapies with speed and precision to avoid damage to tissues surrounding the tumour. Dr Acharyya is also an academician who has been teaching at various medical colleges. His publications had been featured both in the indexed national and international journals. His work on "Hypofractionation in Breast Cancer" had been accepted in the ESTRO ASIA CONFERENCES 2018 Singapore. He has had a platform as a speaker in different cancer control programmes organised by the Indian Medical Association. He also spoke at various national level seminars. He was the Chairperson of the first teaching workshop organized by the radiation therapy technologists in India.
