About Dr Sayan Paul

With more than 15 years of experience, Dr Sayan Paul is a distinguished Radiation Oncologist who had graduated from the best medical schools in India and abroad. He has a wide area of specialisation such as Head and Neck Cancer, Breast Cancer, Lung Cancer, Gynaecological Cancer, Gastrointestinal Cancer, SRS, SBRT/SABR, IGRT, IMTR, Ocular Oncology etc. He is in fact, one of the few oncologists who is trained in Plaque Brachytherapy for eye tumours in Kolkata. He is also a faculty of the Indian College of Radiation Oncology. Moreover, he taught at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, SGPGIMS, Lucknow and SAIMS, Indore, and at Apollo Hospitals in Hyderabad and Kolkata. He has gathered enormous experience in his field working with India's top hospitals namely, PD Hinduja National Hospital, Mumbai, Fortis Memorial Research Institute, Gurgaon etc. He received a clinical fellowship, Technology Transfer Grant, and Educational Grant from the prestigious European Society of Radiotherapy and Oncology and trained under renowned Oncologists in Europe. Dr Paul also completed a professional diploma in clinical research (PDCR). He has many national and international publications and presented his research works at various national and international conferences. He is a Member of the Association of Radiation Oncologists of India (AROI), Indian Brachytherapy Society (IBS), European Society for Therapeutic Oncology & Radiology (ESTRO), Indian Cooperative Oncology Network (ICON), National Academy of Medical Sciences (MNAMS), Indian College of Radiation Oncology (ICRO), and European Society of Medical Oncology (ESMO). He is multilingual who speaks English, Bengali, and Hindi.
